Rapidshare Will Not Scan Uploads

Against, popular belief, Rapidshare has said today that it has no control whatsoever over users’ files. It has declared that privacy and security of users is paramount. All files are kept strictly confidential and no one at rapidshare ever tries to open or scan them. However, if it receives complaints about a certain file, the file is deleted and put on a filter.
